Kercheval was born in Los Angeles, the daughter of poet Albert Fenner Kercheval. Her first poems appeared in local papers when she was a teenager. Her extant known poems appeared as an addendum to her father’s collected works, Dolores, and Other Poems which appeared in 1883.
“Dantés” is the pseudonym of a poet who published in La Gaceta, Santa Barbara, during the years 1979-1881.
After a series of accidents, Fuller was not able to walk or sit, and so he began traveling around the United States to sing his verses.
